I’ve always gravitated to music that tells a story or describes a place or journey, especially those which are dark or disturbing. It’s like looking out the window of a train while traveling to a place one has never been before; outside there are all these textures moving by and all these things that were placed there. Each object has its own past and story hinted at by its placement and context.
